Hey gang! So we have a live streaming show coming up in a couple of weeks Go here on October 23rd
http://steelroots.com/live.aspx

Being a Christian band and Ministry, we believe what we are selling essentially, or “practice what we preach” kinda goes along with that. The sermon at my church a few weeks ago was about being a good salesman or woman and not necessarily pushing Christ onto people but getting the word out and sparking interest.

To sale something to someone you have to sale them something they dont need or want. If you show them something they need they may ask you more about it. A great salesperson is completely sold on their “product”.

Psalms 103 says ” Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all my sins; who heals all my diseases; Who redeems my life from destruction; who crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfies my mouth with good things; so that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”

Being a child of God has great benefits like these. My pastor jokingly called it ” The Benefit Package” ( snare hit- Crash!!) He is also an Insurance salesman so it only seems right you know? But, they are truly wonderful benefits and that is only to name a few. There are so many more, the Bible is full of promises and treasures like these.

We are Gods reflection. We as Christians are the direct reflection of the product we are trying to sell. We live, breathe and believe that it can work wonders in the unsaved lives. Surveys show that 75 – 80% of first time visitors to church come because someone personally invited them. Also about 75% of people who do not attend a church do so, because they simply have not been invited or felt welcome.

It cant be that simple can it? That all you have to do is invite someone to church and their life could be changed forever? Yes, thats all it could take… is a simple invitation.

Go be a salesman or saleswoman.
